Fashion Trucks
Lately there has been a lot of craze about the ever growing popularity of the “Food Truck” Which I absolutely love and every time a see one I at least have to stop and look at the menu. Although it’s not a new concept I just love way these companies have recreated into something fun trendy.
Well the popularity has spilled over into the fashion world and seems to be taking over.Which may be why a new wave of Fashion Trucks are being spotted across the country.
Now boutiques and designers are taking their fashions on the road. So of course I think this is an awesome idea and it kind of makes me want to start one of my own one day.
One of the most popular Fashion Trucks to date is Le Fashion Truck, an L.A mobile fashion boutique.
Le Fashion Truck is a reasonable price mobile fashion boutique located in the L.A area ( so if you are in L.A lucky you.) If you are like me and don’t live in the L.A area they also have an online boutique with select items. So you can always shop from this unique boutique. Make sure you check them out on Facebook, Twitter etc and click the photo link to go directly to their website.
It makes a great deal of sense as far as your overhead cost and you are mobile so you can get you product to anyone anywhere! It’s just a fun way to buy and sell fashion and I think us fashionistas are always looking for new shopping experiences.
I have yet to shop from a fashion truck myself but I am patiently waiting on the opportunity. Until then I will be on the look out for any that may be in or coming to my area (Atlanta, GA). If you ever here of anything in my neighborhood give me a holla beacuse I will be there!

Office Makeover Ideas
Ever since I started Chic Damore I have been becoming more and more excited about being a business owner and all the wonderful things that come with running your own business. I think one of the best things that’s come out of starting this business is that I now have a valid excess for have a separate room to house my clothes, accessories, crafts and sewing projects.
Right now my room is just a room with all my junk in it. Its functional but defiantly not organized or decorated in the way I would like it to be. I want it to be more of a home office where I can read write, and create. It still need to function as /closet/craft/sewing room as well so I have been looking at different color schemes I like. In addition to that it is still a room in my house that I want other people to feel comfortable when they come.
The vibe that I a going for is chic and comfortable. I most likely will stay in line with my company colors black, white and powder blue, I ‘ve found a few examples of what I would like and created a look book to see if I could find things online to re create the look on my budget. Lol, yes this is my own version of Design on a Dime.
It really was a challenge to try to piece this together and in the end, knowing me I may change my mind and going a whole other direction.
The office pictured that I found on http://weheartit.com/entry/14123007 depicts the essence of Chic Damore and I would love to create my office space based off of this. I manged to create my version with some cool finds online. My main focus was a comfy zebra print bean bag chair that I absolutely love from http://beanbagboss.com/us/ that will be great for work late nights and for my 18 month son to sit on when he comes in my office ( which is all the time). Another piece that I love and think is an key piece in most ever room is the black and white print rug from http://indulgy.com/post/YeHu70Df41/hyperion-black-white-rug. So as you can see I am keeping in line with Parsian and European theme, simplistic white and black yet elegant. I didn’t really find the blue accessories I wanted but I think that I will just paint the room blue and use black and white primarily to decorate. I just love the closet idea I found with hanging space for dresses and pants, shelving that can be used for sweaters or shoes. It is very versatile and functional for all seasons. The white desk is my favorite and I think that I could probably make something like that on my own If I found the right panels to attach to a desk. My imagination is now running wild and I can’t wait to get started on this project. I will keep you guys posted on my progress and I am always open for ideas. You heard right! I got 4 brand new pairs of shoes for just 20 Bucks. Of course I’m excited and I wanted to share this with you guys. Beyonce in H&M
You heard it right one of my favorite artist, Beyonce is currently gracing H&M Summer Collection campaign. I am glad to see her endorsing a global and affordable brand like H&M. There are so many girls and women who idolize and look up to her and this gives them the opportunity to engage in something that she is involved in that they can get a personal piece of. I admire Beyonce for her down to earth relatability and of course her mega voice and mega talent. As a frequent shopper of H&M already, and seeing Beyonce in their ad I have to admit it does make me more intrigued to see what new pieces they have.
Beyonce is gorgeous with a sultry flair in each each look. The Campaign was shot in Nassau, Bahamas to go along with the tropical theme you may see in some of their collection this season. I I love this look this lemon yellow bikini so bright and bold . The collection is said to made up of long flowing dresses, pencil skirts, and bathing suits mix and match pieces starting at just $4.95.
I love H & M for their variety in style and can’t wait to get in there to see what they have. I will be shopping there soon so stay tuned.

Home Sweet Home
I have never been attached to were I grew up and could not wait until I was old enough to move the hell out of that town and the entire state of Ohio! Don’t get me wrong Ohio is okay, after all I was born there. Its just that I was always missing felt I didn’t belong there. Even though I was eager to leave after High school and go to College far far away, after several years out of the state, I have to say that this time that I went back I was pleasantly reminded of all the memories I had made there. Neighborhood eateries, local thrift stores, the snow it all was great to get re acquainted with and back to my roots.
First I visited my mother in Columbus, Ohio and we did one of our favorite things…shopping of course. Not just any shopping, thrift shopping. My mother taught me well when it comes to finding a bargain and this time was no different. I scored a pair of Kelsi Dagger patent black smoking shoes for $3 and a vintage chevron print dress.
If you ever traveled through Ohio by car its pretty boring nothing but empty fields, and the occasional farm with a couple cows and a horse. This time wasn’t so bad, the ground was covered in snow the entire time I had such an awesome time crunching down on beautiful white snow and knowing that when I went back to Atlanta there would be no such thing, t it was great while it lasted and was not as cold as I thought it would be. I forgot how beautiful and peaceful snow could be.
And finally I made it all the way back to Good ole Toledo, OH (my hometown). One of my fist stop was Toledo Market. A local grocery store/meat market with a mederterian food counter in the back. You can eat in or carry out this time we carried out. The prices are great and the food is even better. Everything was amazing I got a chicken wrap with rice and lentil soup…to die for. I know this picture sucks but I couldn’t get the glare out when I took this same photo like ten times. So this will have to do. This is The Toledo Market Located near The University Of Toledo. If you are ever in the area check out this hidden gem for some good eats.
Over all I had a great time seeing some of my family I have not seen in a while and just being around something that is familiar to me. I think this trip was much needed and appreciated. I think I might go home more often…..

Thirfty Thursday
Yay! Another Thrifty Thursday Now lets see what deals have I have for you today. I found this dress and fell in love I don’t do a lot of floral prints but I like this dress because it had a great shoulder detail which makes it quite unique.
